Hello Sunshine

American Crafts produce a huge variety of scrapping products and Cathy has created some stunning pages using their Hello Sunshine range.

Border punches are a great way to add extra interest to your pages, Cathy has used some EK Success punches to create the scalloped edges on this layout.

Cathy has stamped the butterfly images onto kraft paper, punched them out and then raised them up on the page using foam pads.

If you aren't glued to the royal wedding today and are looking for a scrapping challenge why not enter our sketch challenge, you have got until Monday to get your entry in. All the details can be found here.

Popcorn

A while ago we showed you some fab pages that Lou had created using Bo Bunny Ad Lib papers, well she has put together one more that we can share with you.

"I sprayed white card with That Special Touch teal mist before using a Glitz distressing 3 stamp. I kept the patterned paper use to a minimum using an EK Success diamond lace border punch on the Pebbles paper and black card and then cut a strip of the same paper but used the yellow side. The stars stamps are from the AC Campy Trails Trailer set and were randomly stamped onto the page before I drew a freehand border around my photos. I cut the red square from This N That paper and added a shadow to it with black pen before adding the cute little camera cut from Ad Lib. The title was added using AC glitter chipboard, Subway, bubblegum thickers. I added a bit of journaling to a journal stamp from the MME Stella and Rose Hattie Remember set. The happy thought bubble was also cut from the Ad Lib paper."

If The Shoe Fits

Claire has created this stunning page for us using a mixture of Sassafras papers, stickers and alpha, MME paper and Pebbles inc clouds.

She has added extra depth to her page by raising some of the elements of her design and curling the flags of her bunting. Very simple but so effective.

Laced With Grace

One of our more recent arrivals has been Glitz Designs, they have released three gorgeous new ranges which can all be found here. Rachael has been busy scapping with some Laced With Grace papers and embellishments to create this lovely page.

"I have been waiting for these papers to come out for ages, I don't usually like orange papers but these are really gorgeous and have a lovely vintage feel, I also knew they would be perfect for scrapping photos of Emily. I love all the embellishments that Glitz Designs come up with especially the paper layers, they make scrapping really easy especially if you like adding lots of layers as I do!"

Stash Used...
Laced With Grace patterned paper, Peek-A-Boo Transparencies, Whatnots and Paper Layers.
Lace
Bling...(Zva Creative coming soon to the shop so keep your eyes peeled)
Thickers
Pink Paislee Butterfly Garden die cuts
Prima Pebble

How To...

1. Cut 2 lengths of patterned paper tearing both edges on the first piece and the top edge on the second.
2. Create a pleated strip to stick to the straight edge, you will need to use 2 lengths of paper and join them together in the middle.
3. Stick your torn pieces onto your page but only add glue at the ends and bottom edge as you want to create a pocket along the top.
4. Machine stitch around your page.
5. Matt your photo onto a Whatnot and add a paper layer behind it tucking it into the pocket.
6. Add a Peek-A-Boo transparency and die cut beside your matted photo and stick them all down.
7. Stick a die cut flower to the side of your photo and pleat the length of lace across the bottom.
9. Create a flower using patterned paper and using a pebble to create the centre, add some black bling around the flower.
10. Add some punched and hand cut butterflies and your title.

Campy Trails

Scrapping is a very personal thing, we obviously all have different styles and the stash that we choose reflects that. Our design team all have very different styles and what one loves another will really struggle with, so we thought we would set them a bit of a challenge and ask them all to create a page using the same 4 sheets of paper. We chose papers from American Crafts Campy Trails, some of the team were very happy with the choice but others found it a bit more challenging! So here are all the pages that the team created.

Love

In our last post we shared a layout that Lou created using the gorgeous new Bo Bunny Ad Lib range, as promised here is the second stunning page that she has put together.

"I have had this photo to scrap since last summer. My boys are like me and once the summer comes they love to have bare feet! I used lime green, sunshine yellow and butternut squash orange Maya mists on white card to create a vibrant and summery background. After hand cutting a couple of flowers and shapes from the Wild Thing paper I added a couple of hand sewn wavy lines to imitate the pattern on the paper. The layout was completed with a couple of stamped clouds and a Sassafras cloud sticker."

Don't forget if you are looking for some inspiration this weekend you still have time to enter our sketch challenge and be in with a chance of winning a £10 e-voucher. All the details can be found here.
Over the last few days there have been lots of new arrivals in the shop including Pink Paislee, WRMK and Glitz Designs. All of the new releases can be found here.
